Holy Communion (Eucharist)

Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.
In the United Methodist tradition we believe that Holy Communion is a means by which the grace of God can be experienced.  Because of this, and a focus on the work of God in and through Holy Communion, we believe this sacred act is open to all persons.  Everyone is welcome to participate in Holy Communion.  No matter where they were born, what denominational tradition they were born into; no matter what they have done or what has been done to them.  "For nothing can separate us from the love of God." (Romans 8:39)

Children, Youth and Adults are always welcome to participate in all aspects of worship services!  If you are comfortable bring your children forward for communion or a simple blessing.   We pray that you will help them learn the words and music that lead us all to God’s Table.

2023-2024 Narrative Lectionary

For the 2023-2024 calendar year we are following the Narrative Lectionary through the Hebrew Bible and into the Gospel of Mark.  We will focus on sharing the narratives of the bible from creation, promise, prophetic call, into the lessons of Jesus as we are called to walk as disciples, and ending in the resurrection into the fullness of life.

The Narrative Lectionary (NL) is a calendar of scripture readings that can be used in worship. It's a four-year cycle that follows the biblical story from Creation through the early Christian church. The NL was created in 2010 by Bible professors Rolf Jacobson and Craig Koester of Luther Seminary, in partnership with congregations across North America.
